Dr. Peter Oddie D.V.M.
Dr.
Peter Oddie, founder and co-owner of St. Lawrence Veterinary Services
and Barriefield Animal Hospital graduated from the Ontario Veterinary
College, University of Guelph in 1972 at the age of 23.
Dr. Oddie's special interests lie in equine medicine, dentistry and surgery,
reproduction and lameness.
His enthusiasm and commitment to excellence has been recognized in the
Kingston and surrounding areas for over 30 years.
Dr. Oddie has been a commissioned veterinarian for the Ontario Racing
Commission for the past 26 years.

Dr. Ken Hammond D.V.M.
Dr.
Kendrick Hammond, co-owner of St. Lawrence Veterinary Services,
Kingston Veterinary Clinic and Barriefield Animal Hospital, was born in
Hull, Quebec and raised on a dairy/beef farm.
Dr. Hammond attended Carleton University, then graduated from the Ontario
Veterinary College, University of Guelph in 1980 and also acquired his
Dairy Health Management Certificate in 1988.
His special interests lie in equine and bovine medicine, particularly
reproductive ultrasound.
Dr. Hammond's enthusiasm for veterinary medicine and commitment to his
clients has been recognized for over 20 years in the Kingston area.

Dr. Phil Ball D.V.M.
Phil
was born and raised in the Kingston area. After graduating from Queen's
University with a degree in biology in 2000, he spent the next 4 years
at the University of Guelph. In 2004 Phil obtained his DVM from the Ontario
Veterinary College and decided to return home to Kingston to practice.
Phil believes that variety is the spice of life and does both large and
small animal medicine with a special interest in surgery. Phil lives north
of Kingston with his wife Krista and their chocolate lab named Pilot.

Dr. Barbara Weselowski D.V.M.
Barbara Weselowski, obtained a degree in Animal Science at the University
on Manitoba. She obtained her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in May 2007,
at the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in Saskatoon.
Joined the St Lawrence Veterinary Services in September 2007.
Grew up on a hobby farm in rural Manitoba.
She has been riding since the age of 8 and started teaching basic riding
lessons at a summer camp at age 15. Spent a summer as head of the riding
program and oversaw horse care.
Currently own 2 horses (a 4yr registered QH, and a 19yr old QH cross).
Professional Interests-- equine practice, with a further interest in reproduction
and wound management.

Our Staff
Our qualified technical staff includes Jody Lappin, our registered veterinarian
technician and our vet assistant Carly Zurrer. They monitor anesthesia,
draw blood, give injections and nurse your pets back to health while in
our hospital. They work efficiently and handle your pets with loving care
and compassion.
At the front office you will be greeted with a smile by Megan Oddie and
Lauren Hammond. They will get you checked in and out of your appointments,
schedule appointments and help you get all your questions answered. Shirley
O'Neill is our office manager.
Our love for animals is overwhelming and obvious.
